As the school year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible efforts and achievements of all our sports teams. Whether our teams stood on the podium or not, their dedication, teamwork and sportsmanship have truly made them champions in our eyes.

The colour of the medal may not always be gold, but the commitment they’ve shown, the hours of practice put in, and the spirit with which they’ve represented our school shine brighter than any trophy.

We were delighted to welcome past pupil & member of Tipperary U14 All Ireland winning team, Moya Grey to present medals to our U13A Football team who qualified for Cumann na mBunscol County Final earlier in the year.

So too, we were delighted to welcome both past pupil & member of Tipperary U20 All Ireland winning Hurling team, Jamie Ormond and Jim Ryan, Holycross- Ballycahill last week. They came adorned with both the Munster & All Ireland cups! Jamie & Jim presented our U13A Camogie team with medals as runners up in the Cumann na mBunscol County Final, held recently in Semple Stadium.

Behind every successful team stands  dedicated teachers / coaches. I want to extend my deepest thanks to all our teachers who have given their time, energy and endless encouragement to coach all our school teams this year.

Their guidance, patience and belief in our students have not only developed skills on the field but also built confidence, resilience and teamwork off it. They have inspired our athletes to strive for their best and shown them the true meaning of sportsmanship.

Thank you for the countless hours spent supporting our teams. Your commitment is gold in our eyes—and we are so grateful for all you do.
