Grandparents Day, as always is the most eagerly anticipated day of the school year! This year was no different! Thanks to Fr Dominic for the beautiful service he delivered, most especially remembering our loved grandparents who have died since last year. A candle was lit for each loved one. Once the formalities were over, grandparents (& great grandparents!) enjoyed reminiscing with friends and visiting their grandchild’s classroom! Thanks to Joan Byrne for talking to the children about her school days here in St. Joseph’s! Teas, coffees, sandwiches & confectioneries refreshed all before they set on their journeys home!
