Lippert Donation towards Sensory Room upgrade.
St Joseph`s Primary School, Templemore were delighted to recently receive €1000 from local company Lippert Marine Europe.
The original donation of €500 from the staff was matched by €500 from corporate, and is in keeping with their core values of “Business as a Force for Good”.
These funds will contribute towards equipping existing sensory area at the school with specialised furniture to meet the needs of pupils with additional needs.
Such equipment includes:
· Safety cover for existing radiator
· Building of large cubby-hole area for quiet time & self-regulation
· Tactile flooring including grass & lava steps
This kind gesture will make a significant difference to the quality of education for many students at the school.
