We were thrilled when our own ‘Bridget’ was selected to feature as part of Dublin’s celebrations for St Bridget’s weekend. Dublin celebrated both St Brigid & all Bridgets over the February bank holiday. Photographer, Deirdre Brennan was tasked with photographing many females of all ages called after our Patron Saint. Selected photographs were projected onto the tourist office wall in Barnardo Square, Dublin. This was an initiative funded by Dublin City Council & featured as part of Brigid 2024.
Lifelong memories were made for our pupil, Bridget who, along with her friends & teachers Ms Máire Bourke, Ms Máire O’ Brien, Ms Mairéad Ryan & Ms Elaine Foley travelled to Dublin to see the projections. A stop at Supermacs was a must before making our way to Barnardo Square. The night sky lit up the wonderful projections. Photographer Deirdre Brennan joined us for a short interlude. All have wonderful memories of a very special event.
