Hosting a Bake Sale in 6th Class has become a very important highlight of the school year. The girls take responsibility for everything, from the planning, organisation, baking (along with the support of their wonderful families) culminating with the Bake Sale Day! The girls, though tired, worked throughout the entire Bake Sale day wearing smiles for all their eager customers. They had many interactive activities that suited all age ranges! The Community of Templemore also got an opportunity to purchase some goodies in the afternoon. With all bills paid, the 6th Class girls raised an astounding €1231.00 for their chosen charities.
Much deliberation took place but the girls finally chose the following charities to donate to:
- Mo Chara Animal Rescue Tipperary; Photographed here are 6th Class along with Nicki and her lurcher friend, Mr Peabody accepting the cheque of €500!
- Irish Kidney Association; Photographed is Francis Hogan accepting the cheque of €500 on behalf of I.K.A.
- Sensory Room in St Joseph’s – €231
Many thanks & congratulations to our 6th Class.
